According to Wikipedia, Rasen was ignored as the sequel and Ringu 2 is the real sequel. I don't know if you'd want to watch the prequel Ring 0: Birthday after watching the Korean remake: Ring/The Ring Virus . But, Sadako 3D is technically a sequel to Rasen, and then we have Sadako 3D 2 . And we have Sadako vs Bunshinsaba and Sadako vs. Kayako.

Sadako Yamamura is the main antagonist of the Japanese psychological horror film franchise Ring, and the crossover film Sadako vs. Kayako which was based on the novel series of the same title by Koji Suzuki. She was a young yet troubled psychic who was brutally murdered and thrown into a well by Kayako Saeki (佐伯伽椰子 Saeki Kayako), née Kawamata (川又 Kawamata) born April 8, 1966 in Tokyo, Japan. She is the main antagonist appearing in the Ju-On franchise, having been portrayed most prominently by actor Takako Fuji. Director Takashi Shimizu created and originally voiced her death rattle himself. Kyōka Takizawa played a young Kayako in The Grudge 2. Actor Anna Moon plays the Freddy and Jason has conflict waaaay more than Sadako and Kayako though. Sadako and Kayako had no conflict until basically the end of the movie. And when they did, it was super short. Most of the movie was rehashing Ringu with some Grudge bits splashed in. There were some really good scenes, but mostly the movie was a big disappointment for me.
